Brent Webb insists the Leeds Rhinos have a point to prove against St Helens
in the first-ever Stobart Super League clash on a Monday night.

The champions were embarrassed at Langtree Park in March, suffering a 46-6 defeat
coach Brian McDermott's worst since taking charge last season.

McDermott has already discussed the heavy defeat as part of his pre-match
discussions and New Zealand full-back Webb believes the result cannot be ignored

Webb missed the Langtree Park demolition job and the 32-year-old insists the
absence of key personnel had an impact in their stunning off-night.

Leeds beat St Helens to win the 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011 Grand Finals and now
hopes his team-mates can see off Mike Rush's side at Headingley Carnegie.
Point to prove

"It's always a big game," he told the Yorkshire Evening Post. "And after the
performance against them last time we've got a lot to prove. It'd be good to get one
over them at home.

"We can't ignore what happened a couple of months ago, but we are in a different
place to the last time we played them.

"We were without a lot of players that weekend. We had a couple of young kids
playing and it was a tough night.

"As a team I think we are in a better place now and we've got everybody on board.
It is a bit different, but at the same time we know we are coming up against a
top side and it should make for a good game."Better shape

Leeds are eight points behind leaders Wigan in eighth place with two games in hand,
although Webb insists no one is panicking approaching the halfway point of their campaign

"We have got a little bit of work to do," he continued. "But I think we are going about it quietly.

"We've had a couple of little stumbles here and there, but no different to any other season.

"We were about the same on the table this time last year, but I think we're in better shape.

"We know what we need to do and it's just a matter of going out and doing it
