                                 Release Notes
This is kind of a confusing thing when you first look at it. Tracks don't
match what's on Wikipedia or Discogs. Wasn't sure what version Tidal Service
was assembling this from, but after some digging I finally found it. This
reissue is the Passport Audio û CD-1053, reissued in 2006. Mel goes total
scatsville on the last track of this reissue. Go, cat.

This originated from a lossless audio stream rip from a Tidal music service
subscription of mine. Rip was done using an Asus Xonar DG sound card. Wave
editor was Cool Edit Pro using 48k/floating 32 bit settings. It was then
converted down to 24 bit using DbPowerAmp, then converted to flac files. The
only changes done were the total silencing of any random system noise between
tracks. (For those of you in the .mp3 binaries, I compressed it further to 320
kb/s with DbPowerAmp using Lame encoder.) Track timings will approximate that
of the original release but are by no means exact to the second.

Because of the lack of .log and .cue files it probably won't be something a
hard core collector wants. But it's plenty good enough for the average
listener. In terms of sound quality, I see no reason why it should be
distinguishable from your garden variety CD. Tracks are tagged and I put some
info in the comments section about the source and .wav gathering, just to keep
the digital gene pool organized. If possible I'll try to find some artwork off
the web to include with it. Enjoy it - MM

Here is the Wiki on it:

Together Again: For the First Time is a 1978 studio album by Mel TormΘ and
Buddy Rich. Originally recorded and released as a direct-to-disc LP album, it
was re-issued in 1999 as When I Found You by Hindsight Records with two
additional Buddy Rich Big Band instrumental tracks from the same era.

Though they had been friends for a long time, TormΘ and Rich had not recorded
together until this album.

Released	1978
Recorded	January 1978, New York City, New York
Genre	Jazz
Length	32:52
Label	Century Records, Gryphon Records
Producer	Norman Schwartz

Direct-to-disc recording session

In the book Traveling Music, Neil Peart (best known as the drummer for Rush)
stated that each side of the album was recorded in a single take directly to
the master LP, which was a throwback to recording techniques of an earlier era.
Not only did the mixing need to be correct, but if a musician would make a
mistake, they had to re-record from the first song. Occasionally, the musicians
would hear the command "take it from the top" and start the song they had been
playing, instead of starting from the first song. This restart occasionally
caused some confusion among the musicians who normally respond to that command
by restarting the song instead of the album
